Chapter 20: Afterthoughts
Now, a week and a half after I landed in MontrĂ©al, I can see from a perspective the blessing that this visit to Ananda Village was for me. Most of all, I am overwhelmed with gratefulness: gratefulness to my Divine Mother who, always mindful of Her children, took the time to grant my prayer to the letter: “Let me take the most advantage of this week,” I prayed to her. Lovingly, she gave me all I asked, and more!
This is, however, in a sense, only one more drop into the sea of prayers answered by my Beloved, which makes me ever more hopeful of the eventual fulfilment of my most heartfelt prayer to Him, as Yogananda taught it: “Give me Thyself, so that I may give Thee to all.”
Joy to you all!

Hi there! I was just googling “Aum Technique” and landed on your blog. I love it. It’s very inspirational. I was curious – in the Ananda story, you mention you were going to ask your siblings and your father if they would like to live at Ananda. Did you ask them? What was their answer? Are you living at Ananda now?
I started with Ananda online (ananda.org) early last year and went through several courses: Meditation, Raja Yoga, Discipleship, and Prep. for Kriya Yoga. I’ve met so many great teachers through http://www.ananda.org. I haven’t been to Ananda Village yet. But I do hope to visit some day.
Thanks for your great blog. I’d love to read more… especially with what you’re doing now and how it’s going.

Hi Brian!
I am living at Ananda in Pune now, along with my brother. My father, incidentally, is spending a month with us here right now, but neither he nor my sister have moved to Ananda (yet!).
I’m happy to know you’re following the lessons, and that you’re just about to get kriya yoga, it’s a great blessing! I also hope you can visit Ananda Village someday as well, it is well worth it
Joy!
